Lung cancer remains Australia’s leading cause of cancer-related deaths, but the TRACKER Biobank is bringing hope and innovation to the problem. At the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Research Institute (ONJCRI) 10-Year Anniversary Conference, TRACKER reached a major milestone with its first poster presentation, showcasing important insights from its work to date.
The presentation, delivered by Dr. Sarah Yeo, a talented clinician and PhD student, shared early findings from the initial 70 patients recruited to TRACKER — Australia’s first national lung cancer biobank. These findings emphasise the biobank’s role in accelerating critical lung cancer research and shaping future breakthroughs.
"TRACKER is more than a biobank. It’s a catalyst for change, providing researchers with the resources they need to tackle the most pressing challenges in lung cancer treatment.”
