We are proud to announce that Lisa Briggs, Chair of the TRACKER Biobank Consumer Committee, has been awarded the prestigious 2025 Jeannie Ferris Award at Parliament House. This honour recognises Lisa’s exceptional leadership, advocacy, and dedication to ensuring consumer voices remain central to lung cancer research.

At the TOGA 2025 Annual Scientific Meeting in Brisbane, Dr Shivakumar took to the stage to share early insights from his PhD research - a fascinating exploration of how the lung microbiome might influence the risk of CIP in lung cancer patients.

Congratulations to Dr. Sarah Yeo, PhD candidate and respiratory specialist, on her first first-author publication, and to the TRACKER team on achieving our very first peer-reviewed paper, now published in the Medical Journal of Australia (MJA).
