This honour recognises Lisa’s exceptional leadership, advocacy, and dedication to ensuring consumer voices remain central to lung cancer research.

A Recognition of Leadership & Advocacy
The Jeannie Ferris Award, presented by Cancer Australia, honours exceptional contributions to cancer control through leadership, advocacy, and community engagement.
Lisa’s role as Chair of the TRACKER Consumer Committee embodies these values. She has played a vital part in shaping TRACKER’s vision, ensuring that the perspectives and needs of patients and their families are central to every step of our research journey. Her work has helped bridge the gap between research and the people and communities it serves.
"Lisa's passion, insight, and dedication inspires all of us." Dr Tracy Leong, TRACKER Co-lead
