TRACKER is proud to announce a remarkable milestone, the recruitment of our 151st lung cancer patient! This achievement marks an exciting step forward in building a groundbreaking national resource designed to help researchers tackle the world's deadliest cancer: lung cancer.

A Growing National Effort

Across Victoria, New South Wales, and South Australia, TRACKER is uniting clinicians, researchers, and patients in a shared mission to transform lung cancer care.

This milestone would not have been possible without the dedication and teamwork of clinicians recruiting at our partner hospitals, including:

  • 🏥 Austin Health (VIC)

  • 🏥 The Royal Melbourne Hospital (VIC)

  • 🏥 Macquarie University Hospital (NSW)

  • 🏥 St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney (NSW)

  • 🏥 Royal Adelaide Hospital (SA)

Each site plays a vital role in collecting and processing high-quality biospecimens that power research into treatment response, resistance, side effects and new therapeutic approaches.

Every Patient Makes a Difference

Most importantly, we thank the 151 patients who have generously shared their samples and data. Your courage and generosity are the heartbeat of TRACKER; driving discoveries that will shape the future of lung cancer care!

“Every patient who joins TRACKER contributes to something far greater than a single research study. They are helping build the foundation for a new era of personalised, data-driven cancer care."

TRACKER acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the lands across Australia, whose cultures and customs have nurtured and continue to nurture this land. We pay our respects to the Elders past, present and emerging. We also acknowledge the overrepresentation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in lung cancer and we commit to working together with Community to close this gap.
